Square veil with Rose Border

~44" square
Some rust spotting although basically strong condition. Some repair to ground (see documentation), one esprit in ground near border missing.
Shown on a maniquin at the 2007 Exhibition.

Border all around of roses and leaves, entire center sprinkled with small 3 leaved sprigs used as esprits. Honiton?

Came with documentation saying this had been purchased in London in 1840, and used as a wedding veil.
